The Leprechaun
Leprechaun 4: In Space is the series' sleeper. Yes, it's set in space, but that's what makes it awesome. Leprechaun 4 takes a ludicrous idea and makes it "unique." Practical effects, clever murders, and Leprechaun quips will have you rolling. If you like the Leprechaun series or horror flicks, watch Leprechaun 4: In Space.
Pinhead
Prequel and sequel rolled into one, Hellraiser: Bloodline is a must-see for fans of the horror genre. The plot covers three separate historical periods: the 1700s, the 1990s, and the 2200s. I didn't have big hopes for the fourth film in the series since, let's face it, I'm just here for Pinhead and the Cenobites. It is always a delight to watch Doug Bradley play because he retains that chilly, menacing, and demonic vibe. This makes no logic and is tough to understand, but who cares about any of those things? The moments with Pinhead, even if you've watched Hellraiser to its conclusion, are still worth seeing if only for their sheer terror. If you loved Hellraiser or any of the other works by Clive Barker, you should check out this one for sure. Even though there isn't a whole lot of logic to it, it's still a tremendously interesting ride.
Critters
When I learned that Critters 4 would take place in space, I must confess that I was fascinated. How, exactly, could they top the previous Critters films? However, when I saw the cast list, it did not appear encouraging. Who is Brad Dourif? Angela Bassett? And the renowned Danish actor Anders Hove? I just could not understand how this would work.
And my concerns were verified when I eventually watched Critters 4. While the plot and characters weren't very memorable, it was an obvious rip-off of other popular series placed in an unpleasant locale. What truly hurts from a fan standpoint is that the very features that made the prior entries distinctive and enjoyable are either entirely stripped away or simply not there at all. Critters 4 is a terrible mess and a major letdown.
Dracula
It's not often that a lousy horror movie is so awful that it's almost unwatchable, but that's exactly what Dracula 3000 is. I really like being annoyed by Dracula 3000. In spite of the fact that it is terrible for the whole of its running length, my primary complaint is that the conclusion was a complete and utter waste of time, which left me feeling completely unfulfilled. I had high hopes that "Dracula in Space" would be so horrible that it would be hilarious, but unfortunately, it was so bad that it was horrifying. The notion is entertaining, but the performance is terrible, and the conversation is intolerable to the extreme. If you want to have a bad mood for the rest of the day, I suggest you watch the video.
Coolio, too. Coolio is in it. Did I mention Dracula in space that before?
Jason Voorhees
The most well-known space-based horror sequel is Jason X. An iconic figure is Jason Voorhees. It doesn't matter how he got there. It is unclear why he is in space. All that matters is that Jason is in space and prepared to wreak havoc.
Jason X, in my view, is worth seeing for easter eggs and references to earlier Friday the 13th films, as well as his transformation into Uber Jason.
Even though this movie isn't for everyone, it's great for people who like campy, cheesy slasher movies.
